It does retrieve the AccountID, Display Name, and Email Address. You can add a formula column that would set another field = to one of these values.

Good question, when you print view the control is not displayed. What I do for print views is to actually create a new view that I switch to on submit. This new view has all of the controls displayed as "Expressions" which are basically non-editable labels that grow nicely. On the print view pull out the field from the data pane that you want to display, if you allow for multiple people to be selected then you have to choose the option to display in a repeating group.

To re-iterate what I stated above, create a new view called "print view" and rebuild your entire form on that view. Add the "Display Name" portion of the people picker's data structure onto the form.

Hope this helps. Ulysses

The entire process described above revolves around using AD as the data source. If it's not working make sure you following the instructions to the "T", it's quite tricky.

How do I make Active Directory the data source? I want the functionality provided by the Browse button or the PeoplePicker when adding a user to a SharePoint group.

If trying to set contact selector to exactly 1 entry. Need to setup a field with default value using Count formula on the display name. Then, since this will default to 1 (with no entry (blank)), use data validation of count 1 and DisplayName is blank. Works.

I'm still have problems as some others have said before...
basically the button works in that I can search for a user and hit 'add' followed by 'ok', but at this point the people picker just remains greyed out and does not show the name at all.
Any ideas or solutions? thanks!
