Overview SharePoint 2013 has the capability to aggregate all tasks associated with a user and display them on the user's MySite. Expected Behavior When a user visits their MySite, they see a "Tasks" link in the current navigation that shows an aggregated view of all tasks assigned to the user across all sites. Assigning tasks to a user should push the task to a consolidated view on their MySite. The My Tasks page will aggregate all tasks and group them by site and list name. One of our clients recently had a requirement to audit every document click made by a user on their site. Unfortunately, Office365 does not audit clicks, only deletes and updates so we were on our own.
Steps to implement
Add the code below to a file such as TrackClicks.js
Add the <script src="Scripts/TrackClicks.js" type="…">...
Problem Very often when working with SharePoint document libraries, programmers need to ensure they don’t overwrite files. Solution The script below queries a library and returns the next available filename for the preferred name passed in. Note that this script could easily be modified to poll any other file source so it’s not limited to just SharePoint /// Author: Ulysses Ludwig: email@example.com///...

Licensed users of Office365 can download Office for Mac to their Mac as one of their 5 licenses allotted. Once installed, Office provides a tool called Microsoft Document...

Identify the sites master page (note that you must be logged in as an administrator preferably as a site collection administrator).
Click on Master page
Make a note of the Site Master Page
In site settings click on Master...
