SharePoint excel services charting generates the chart on the server each time the page gets requested. Unfortunately, these charts look beautiful at design time because our desktops have such great video with millions of colors etc, but on the server, the display settings may be set to 16 bit. When SharePoint renders the chart, it uses the current server's display adapter, if the setting are too week the output looks horrible with pixilated charts, ugly font colors , and mismatched spacing.
